We've Rebuilt Driver Docs and Made It Easier to Use

Later today, you'll find simpler navigation, rich and generative metadata, and contextual insights—this release reflects major investments in both our underlying Transpiler technology and product experience. This is all to help you get to what you need to work on faster and understand your technology from top to bottom. With this release, we’re not just helping you write better documentation—we’re turning your codebase into structured, exhaustive documentation that powers human and AI understanding. It’s our next big step toward a future where every team and AI agent understands how your technology works, no matter the complexity, from hardware to software, end-to-end.

1. Understand Your Codebase at a Glance

The new codebase landing page is the centerpiece of this release—each codebase card now displays rich, auto-generated insights, including a plain-language summary, smart tags for domain, audience, and classification, and key stats like lines of code, language breakdown, usage, and repo links.

All designed to help you understand what you're looking at in seconds.

Within the new Driver Docs experience, you’ll also find richer insights contextualized wherever you are, along with easier navigation between docs and source code. You can now filter, sort, and search like you would in your favorite engineering tools, and share links with one click.

2. Smarter Chat, Deeper Context

We've introduced meaningful improvements to Chat this sprint. Now, you can ask about anything on the landing page or in the code—Chat stays in context as you navigate files and symbols. You can also compare multiple codebases in a single conversation for true systems-level understanding.

3. Create Any Custom Document

Describe what you want the doc to cover, choose your sources, then how long you want it, and click go.

4. Full VCS Coverage: Introducing BitBucket Integration
