Introducing One-Click Architecture Overviews
We’re excited to introduce you to One-Click Docs, saving you even more time and effort creating long-form documentation. Starting this afternoon, you can generate comprehensive Architecture Overviews from any source code in your Driver workspace with just a single click. This robust new feature eliminates the need for multiple prompts when creating Architecture Overviews, so you can:
Save valuable time on setup, outlining, and drafting that would otherwise be spent crafting prompts.
Achieve the right level of content accuracy, depth, and specificity without extensive prompt engineering.
Create source-of-truth documentation for your team in the background while you focus on crucial heads-down work and collaboration.
Soon, we’ll be rolling out One-Click Docs for other types of high-level documents we know you’re working on. Stay tuned!
Introducing Hyperlinks in Driver Docs
Navigating complex codebases just got significantly easier with our new hyperlinks feature in Driver Docs, allowing you to move seamlessly through your codebase's folders, files, and symbols directly within the documentation with hyperlinks, instead of having to browse through the hierarchical file directory structure.
We're also rolling out enhanced Driver Docs for C. Now when you see a C function mentioned, it links directly to that function's documentation page. Additionally, each function's documentation page now displays—and links to—the documentation for every other function it calls, streamlining navigation and code understanding. Broader language support for rich symbol hyperlinks is coming soon.
Select Codebase Versions in Driver Studio
Choose exactly which version of your code Driver Studio uses when creating documentation. This new feature allows you to:
Hone in on a specific version of your codebase when writing documentation.
Compare and contrast different versions of your codebase when writing documentation.
Easily browse through your automatic updates and select versions by date or commit.
